That time of year...

I heart rain boots, and so do our children. It makes the rainy days not so grey. Although usually I require they wear pants with their boots.

Jacob, Holly, and Lucie enjoying a snow day. I told Jacob that when we move back to Utah it will snow so much he will not even be able to see the ground. The next day, as he lined up for the bus, he said to the boy behind him, "Excuse me...did you know it snows so much in Utah that you can't even see the ground?!?" Just a bit excited for some snow.

This is my favorite side dish this time of year, roasted fresh brussel sprouts and butternut squash. Toss the veggies with a little olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spread veggies onto pan and cook at 400 for fifteen to twenty min. Mmmmm...

I love sleeping babies. I love even more how they nestle their little faces into things as they sleep. I especially love how this little baby hugs the bumper pads right over his face so his mom worries all night that he's going to suffocate. Seriously, I lose sleep over this...silly, I know.
